Seminar and AGM

The Ontario Resource Regime and Ardoch Algonquin First Nation present an update on the Uranium Issue from 6:30 - 9 p.m., at Artspace (378 Alymer St., Peterborough). Enjoy a presentation and discussion with Robert Lovelace (Lead Negotiator for the Ardoch Algonquin First Nation) and Chief, Paula Sherman. The presentation will be followed
by the Kawartha World Issues Centre AGM. Free with donations accepted for Ardoch Legal Defense Fund.

The Canadian Canoe Museum: workshop

Two-day paddle making workshop at the Museum

The workshop will be led by Hal Bowen and Don Duncan. Participants will learn to work with traditional hand tools such as the spokeshave and wood plane while shaping the black cherry paddle. The fee is $175 which includes all materials.
