Conference Location: Peter Gzowski College, East Bank, Trent University, Peterborough, Ontario. The College entrance is on the 200-level at the north-east corner of the building. How to get to Trent University.
Parking: Park in the Peter Gzowski College lot east of the building. You will receive a parking pass at the information desk. It is to be placed on your dashboard.
Registration: First go to the Trent University Conference Centre Information Desk on the 200-level to get your parking pass and room assignment. The desk will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9. The Ontario Nature AGM & Conference Registration Desk is in the main foyer on the 100-level. There is an elevator and a stairway down to the 100-level.
Lecture Rooms: The opening remarks and plenary sessions are in the Wenjack Theatre. All other Saturday sessions will be in Peter Gzowski College. Room locations for the sessions will be displayed at the registration desk.
Displays and Exhibits: Displays and exhibits will be located in the 100-level foyer of Peter Gzowski College.
Breaks: On Friday, June 8, refreshments will be available in the Otonabee College foyer from 10:00-10:30 a.m. On Saturday, June 9, refreshments will be available in the Peter Gzowski College 100-level foyer from 10:00-10:30 a.m. and 3:00-3:30 p.m.
Meals: Most meals will be served in the Robinson Hall Dining Room on the 200-level of Peter Gzowski College. Serving times for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday are from 7:00-8:15 a.m. and for lunch on Saturday from 12:00 noon until 1:15 p.m.
The Friday barbecue will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. It is available to all registrants. Friday meals are included in the session fee for Friday registrants only.
The Saturday banquet will be held in the Great Hall in Champlain College. A cash bar will open at 6:00 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m. To get to the Great Hall, cross the Otonabee River on the footbridge and proceed to the first building on the right. The route will be signed.
Please note that other than pre-paid conference meals there is no food service available within walking distance of the campus.
Box Lunches: Pick up box lunches for Sunday field trips at the Conference Registration Area on the 100-level. Bring your box lunch ticket.
